<p>On Sunday, January 31st, the Karen and Chin Christian community in Clarkston gathered together to worship and learn more about Census 2010.   The ACCC was on hand to provide Census promotional materials, and to meet with the Buddhist and Christian Burmese leadership to discuss and offer assistance with additional funding opportunities, particularly as it relates to funding to transport the many Burmese that do not drive to job testing sites or related Census events.  <span id="more-784"></span>The Burmese community is diverse both in ethnicity, language and faith.  The majority of Burmese refugees in Georgia are either Buddhist or Christian.  However, the Burmese CCC has been able to successfully collaborate across ethnic and faith-based lines to ensure every person in their community is counted.</p>
